I think you will find that Brandon Wegher will step up in a BIG way this week against Indiana. He has tools beyond his years, and a fierce determination. All is well in HawkeyeLand.

Unreal - the whole season has just been unreal. The obstacles, the disrespect, the resulutness of the team - just amazing. I could so see a movie being made out of this year's Hawkeye team. A real Field of Dreams.

Why all the excuses? Can some one please say Iowa is that good. All I hear week from week is Iowa will get beat. Our quarterback is not that good. We can not run the ball. Lets face it every team has injuries. We can just substain them better than others becasue of our next man in coaching stlye. Just think this was done with a lot of average recruits. Again we make players better. When Iowa wins the national title game this year and they will there will be another excuse out there. "The other team had a bad game". Great job Hawks you are for real!!

I don't think the coaching staff will hesitate to pull the redshirt off of Rogers if he is needed. Looking ahead at the 2010 season it appears that there will be an abundance of RB's when Hampton is healthy. Maybe Rogers and/or Wegher can redshirt the 2010 season.

It sucks to have sustained all of these injuries but i would much rather be 8-0 and banged up than 7-1 and fully healthy
