Last year the PAC10 swept their bowls and they got talked up all year. I think this year USC and UCLA were the only teams to win in their conference for a 2-5 record. Several of the losses were pretty embarrasing too. It will be interesting to see how the media treats them relative to the B10 treatment of the last 2 years. The (vaunted) SEC is 5-4 right now and would be 3-6 if jNW and East Carolina had competant kickers. Of course with Florida's performance last night, unless Alabama craps their pants in the NC game, all will be fine in the SEC as far as the media are concerned. From a national view the 3 wins so far are huge. The big ten and OSU really needed the Rose Bowl win. If Iowa can earn the win in the Orange bowl it will be 4 win for the big ten versus teams in the top 25. And in all the Big 10 teams were underdogs.
