I always thought the Northwestern game in 2000 was a huge lift for our program. NW had just come off a big win against Michigan and was positioned to win the Big 10. Our defense, led by Bob Sanders, held them in check all day to pull the upset. It seemed to me that we had turned the corner on that day.

I would submit that the 2010 Orange Bowl up there since it was his first, of what I hope to be many, BCS Bowl victories. If he can manage to get a Rose Bowl win this year it would be icing to his cake.
