Re: 2012 Recruiting Class
PF Perry Ellis has an Iowa offer.
Not sure if Iowa has a chance, but he is highly ranked player, with some Iowa connections.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Class
I believe Ellis came out with his Top 4 and Iowa did not make the list a few months back. I could be wrong.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Class
Add:
Price Ibeh, 6-10, C from Garland, TX
Jelon Hornbeak, 6-3, SG from Arlington, TX
Dorial Green-Beckham, 6-6, SF from Springfield, MO
Charles Mitchell, 6-7, PF from Marietta, GA
Cinmeon Bowers was a Lick offer as well, does anyone know if the current staff has reaffirmed the offer?
I also see about 8 other kids that list considering Iowa, but it doesn't appear any official offer yet, but they are Top 150 kids with only a few offers, so hopefully there will be more top talent to list here. Kids from Illinois, Ohio and Indiana, I like the widespread geography that this staff is covering to find great talent.

Then the additional two recruits from 2011

While it's a little bit difficult to predict exactly what we would still need in a perfect world with two 2011 scholarships yet to give, in all likelihood we will still be shallow in the bigs department heading into this class. Woodbury and Meyer would help out tremendously.
Throwing in a Gesell to help Cully and a possible 2011 PG commit with ball handling duties/occasional SG play would be fantastic. Hard to tell if we have a shot with him.
If we could get those three and a possible wing to help soften the blow when May leaves, like an Abrahamson, we would be sitting pretty great one would have to think.

Just to clarify none of this is premium information. Just a few google searches, a lot of tweets and reading about local players

Iowa was interested in Henley, but Henley was not interested in the Hawkeyes.

Green Beckham is playing Fball and is the best WR in the country. Similar to Terelle Pryor except he plays WR instead of qb.
