No, not a ruse. Just a kid that doesn't know what he wants to do. You don't get every TV station in the state, the DMR, and three publishers from the major Iowa websites chasing down a ruse. Stuff like that gets debunked quickly.

Jake absolutely was considering a return. He decided to stay.
