I think I'm Mad again!!
At least I'm excited to see how this team plays today. Basically it's the first game of the season since it's the first team that can beat us.

Look out basketball world, Fran-kenstein and The Hawkeyenation is Mad Again!

1. poor defense.
2. still nobody on the team who can drive to the basket and beat somebody
3. same boring crowd.
4. poor ball movement, and away from the ball movement.

I'm mad I'm watching the game.

Creighton is playing very well.

Iowa is playing very poorly. This Iowa team has no center (again) and an inconsistent point guard. Plays poor defense and has average shooters.

Basabe looks disinterested which I cannot understand. I think there is a still a long, long way to being .500 in the conference let alone any kind of tournament bid.

I'm very mad. I feel duped. My own fault, I guess, but based on early returns, I thought this Iowa team was greatly improved. Instead, they appear small and unskilled.

This was pretty much the same sentiment from Cyclone fans after the Drake loss, minus the crowd part. We played AAU ball against an average Missouri Valley team and that's not cool

Creighton shot lights out.

Iowa was off.

Iowa didn't play defense.

You have to play good defense when you are shooting that poorly... otherwise you have no chance of winning.

I'm not that discouraged after that game. If we could play some solid defense... we have the potential to win quite a few games. It is just a matter of putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together.
