The Lady Hawks beat Purdue this afternoon by 17. And a Hawkeye win is a Hawkeye win!

I actually got to cover this game today. One of the writers had a funeral, and another was in Minnesota, so I was filling in by myself. Gotta say it was an awesome experience! Great game once it hit the 5:35 mark in the first half, and the whole reporting experience was a blast, too.

Very good game by the Lady Hawks. Like to see them get back on track. Unfortunately very few games are on TV. Watched the Penn State game, and thought they were going to win that one. They really miss Kachine Alexander, but are getting it together right now.....

Definitely have missed Kach this year. They need that slasher to give the offense another dimension so they don't have to rely on the 3 quite so heavily. Virginia Johnson and Theairra Taylor gave them some of that today, hopefully it continues going forward.
