Drake wins in triple OT against Wichita State, ISU over #5 Kansas
Wow, what a good day for Iowa teams in basketball.
Tomorrow kind of feels like it's going to be a major letdown.

Wow. Not even going to bother and wait for the prediction thread, much less the opening tip or the end of the game? People tell me I'm a pessimist (outside of my Cubs loyalty), but my God, you continue to take negativity to new lows.

Indiana is favored by 19. Cody Zeller is an absolute nightmare matchup for Iowa. Next season will be different story (if Zeller sticks around) with Woodbury and Meyer able to matchup fairly. Plus Indiana is the best 3-point shooting team in Big Ten, SECOND IN THE COUNTRY at 45%. Iowa allowed the worst 3-point shooting team Nebraska at 33% to shoot 55% on Thursday. YIKES!

Just stated the facts. Iowa doesn't matchup well against Indiana, everyone would agree with this. I said next year would be a more fair matchup when Iowa has the height to defend Zeller with Woodbury and Meyer. Also those stats were facts. Not sure the problem.

Just got back from the Drake game. There was only a couple thousand fans there and it was 10 times the environment than CHA is on most nights.

I suppose that's fair lol. It's actually kind of an unusual duality. Optimistic when it comes to the Cubs and Iowa basketball, mildly pessimistic regrading Iowa football, and then very pessimistic regarding day-to-day stuff.
