2011: 2-5

well we had biclighter first 3 years and new coach last year and i think we should be okay this month and btt in march. i think we should be able to play tough in btt and possibly win one or two games possible

Break that trend!

IMO, the most LIKELY Feb record is 4-4.

However, I say we win 2 of the next 3, then 1 of the following 3, and get revenge @ Neb. That puts us as 5-3 this month.

but February has actually been Iowa's "good" month in conference play the last 4 years.
Iowa's overall conference record in those years is 19-53, for a winning percentage of 26.3%. The February winning percentage in the last four years you cited is 27.5%, so February has been better -- on average -- than other months for Iowa basketball the last four years. Which is a remarkable level of futility.

It would be disappointing to not do better than that this year, with one win already in the bag and two games with Penn State, road games at Illinois, Nebraska, Northwestern, and home games with Indiana, Wisconsin. 4-4 or better for the month would be a nice improvement.
