Is it okay for grown men and women to get these autographs?
Nice by the way.

No. I remember getting this team's autographs when I was of the appropriate age and it was a LONG time ago.

Re: GQ Cover
Actually, I don't get into autographs anymore, since I became an adult. However, when Iowa played at Kemper Arena that year that Recker was a senior and we lost to Mizzou at Kemper and then pummeled them at Mizzou, I weakened.
I have a ticket from that tournament with Ronnie Lester's autograph on it and another with B.J. Armstrong's autograph on it. I hadn't asked for an autograph since I was in college (if then, and I was at Iowa when B.J. & Co. were). However, I couldn't resist getting autographs from two of the three or four best point guards in Iowa's history, and that is what I told them when I got the autographs.
I might have not done it if they were substantially younger than me, but since they were contemporaries of mine I guess that helped me get past asking for an autograph at age 37. It was worth it, especially to get a chance to talk to Lester, who was at Iowa while I was in middle school. Man, I still remember the start of that Louisville game in the Final Four when he and Darrel Griffith were going at it after he cam back from the knee injury earlier in the season.
