McCormick is absolutely terrible...I cannot believe some of the ignorant things he said during the game.

He is the ESPN version of Tim Doyle.

"Did you ever think the reason Penn State is such a good offensive rebounding team is because they miss so much?". Yes, actually I thought that first time you said it. It's obviously the reason. When you clunk three pointers you'll randomly end up with a lot of offensive rebounds.

He is ok. I like how he gave big props to Matt Gatens. McCormick played at Michigan and he knows bb and the Big Ten. Fans are never happy.

Just because he played and he does know basketball, it doesn't make him a good color analyst.

Listen to Tim a few times and he is over the top on everything that he says...gives too much credit where it is due and not enough in other areas.

Whoever is winning the game is who he will talk about, he then focuses on one thing the other team does poorly and will not stop, even if they change that. PSU hit how many three's against Iowa? He continued to talk about how bad they shot...until the second half %'s were put on the screen.

At one point during the game he also said "Iowa is a great defensive team" that right there is just one example of how he overblows teams when they are winning.

Exactly. Herbyhawk got all pissy in the game thread because I commented that the announcers were full of it. He thought I was somehow bashing the Hawks.
