that team won 9 games...progress.

That team won 17 games on the whole...Lick won 15 I think in his first year...I think this team will eclipse that

Wow, rather sobering. Jon, do you think this team will win AT Happy Valley?

I'm pulling for 3 more regular season wins. That would give us a .500 overall record at worse for the season.

We would need 4. There are 18 games.

Three more wins would put us at worse 16-16.

I'd be happy with that. Ecstatic with 17-15 and a 9-9 Big Ten record.

I'd be real happy with a 17 and 15 mark and 9 and 9 in the conference. I hope they can finish .500 after the regular season is over. The games against @Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana have me concerned the most. There are three road games against NW, NE, and PSU that are winnable but expecting wins on the road is a lot to ask. The home game against NW is no gimme either. To get 4 wins means winning out at home and picking up a road win. I hope they can pick off @NW on Thursday, which would enhance the chances a lot.

The remaining schedule scares me. If Iowa can guard the 3 well, plus not have that second half "lull" than they have a shot at winning each game. The only game i see as a blowout loss is at Illinois. Expect to lose by at least 15

I would say anything above 15 wins is a huge step forward. I think it would be huge for Iowa to win 3 more games and finish .500. I would feel much better about these chances if Iowa can somehow win one of these 2 road games as the rest of the schedule looks scary.
