Can't remember if I ever posted on this before. For business reasons in 1993 we had to move our business to Wayne, NE. As a part of my business I did custom framing and you would never believe how many times I framed Husker stuff. It amounted to thousands of dollars of profit every year. I had to become a closet Hawkeye in order to afford trips to Iowa City for Hawkeye games. 13 years as a closet Hawkeye damn near killed me but when we retired we moved back home to Hawarden, IA. I have a ceremony in mind (Burning the Husker cap) but have yet to decide when. Any suggestions?

Wow, the only way you are able to redeem yourself is to gather up all your Husker stuff, go back to Wayne, and burn everything in front of your old store before Iowa/Nebraska play. Make sure you are decked out in Hawkeye attire, but have a good pair of running shoes on and make sure you have a fellow Hawkeye buddy in the drivers seat ready to beat it out of town. Make sure he has the Hawkeye fight song blaring in the car.
