Neb v. PSU Game, What a Mess

All I know is that I am glad Iowa is not in HP this week. Those are some fairly loyal fans out there, but it would not shock if the game was boycotted pending resignations by all higher ups. What would that look like? 2 teams playing, nobody there. Sucks for the kids on that team, who certainly don't deserve this debacle.

I hate saying this but I am hoping the Huskers kick the crap out of them. I do not want Penn State representing the Big Ten in any of the top bowl games.

This scandal has nothing to do with the players so I don't wish anything bad on them. I actually feel sorry for them that they have to go through this crap caused by the ones who are supposed to be providing leadership. Im sure parents of the football players are mad they that this information was hidden because they would have definitetly thought twice about sending a kid to play there.

No, I do not wish anything bad on the players as they are not at fault. But the people in charge of the football program and the University are at fault and I hope they lose every game the rest of the year.

If you have any sympathy for Penn St go read the report of the Grand Jury. It makes you sick to see what this university tried to cover up.

Its a horrible horrible thing that has happened, i mean its Joe Paterno. Joe Friggin Paterno man, who would of thought. This game isnt any fun anymore. Nebraska wins, Penn St wins, who cares. Lots of kids lost alot more then a football game at the hands of what happened. If they would of reported it then, it would of been bad but not this bad. The could of bounced back now and Paterno could of kept his job and retired with dignity. Now, good god. No one on Huskerboard is looking forward to this now. No matter what everyone loses.

What a freaking circus this is going to be. And, in another intersting twist, years ago, PSU President Graham Spanier was the former Chancellor (I think) at Nebraska. It feels dirty to even say that. I don't see how he makes it out of Happy Valley with his job.

I'm embarrassed that he used to work at Nebraska.
