this saturday. how weird will it be to be at the game on saturday for them and for the first time in 46 years to have joe paterno not coaching there and to have to watch a football game but in the back of your mind knowing what has happened there this week.... how could you even cheer for your school anymore?

I have a feeling they will either boycott and the stadium will be empty. Or the students will do something very stupid during the game on national television.

yeah im not saying that most people there wont be glad hes gone, but i do think it will be a very weird day in state college.

also i dont know how they'll be able to even cheer for the school after this week or even be concerned with a game. I'm predicting a husker blow out win.

it could be a rallying point for them to start moving forward. Even though in reality there is still some more house sweeping to do. The fans and alumni still love their university, just as we do Iowa. they have their paid-for tickets. most are saddened as we are, and ashamed with their beloved school. they will show up, misery loves company. I think the game will be a backdrop to the fans, as for the players, unfortunately their weaknesses will probably be exposed after giving a fight early.

If I were a PSU fan, I would still go out and support the players on this team. They have done nothing wrong and even though the university has been shamed, these young guys are out there to play their butts off for those fans and they should be supported for that.

I think the team will win it for Joe and beat Nebraska. The students will rush the field and tear it up.
