Makes you wonder what else still hasn't been made public. He must know there is gonna be a lot more coming his way than just getting fired.

Not only has he hired a lawyer, but specifically a criminal defense lawyer.

Also, it's now being reported the McQueary won't be at the game Saturday due to "multiple threats". Threats wouldn't surprise me seeing as PSU themselves won't do the right thing and fire his ***.

Correct. Plaintiffs will always go after the deepest pocket, and paterno's pockets are plenty deep. There will be civil lawsuits aplenty coming at the old fart very soon. This lawyer will help him protect his fortune. Blecchh.

What kind of lawyer would you expect him to hire? An over-worked, whipped M&A lawyer out of Chicago-ish?

Unless he's facing charges, why a criminal lawyer rather than one who *gasp* specializes in civil lawsuits?

That he was hauled in front of a Grand Jury and asked what he knew about boys getting raped and didn't get a defense lawyer until now doesn't really show anything.
