McQueary placed on administrative leave

This from the press conference currently being held by PSU's interim President Erickson.

Edit: It apparently hasn't been said yet (or I've missed it) as to who made the decision.

Edit2: Apparently Paterno is more than welcome to show up to the game as "any member of the public" is. Oi vey, how can they still not get it?

Miller and Brinson just reported that McQueary is in protective custody.

What I want to know is where these threats are coming from, and what they are about. Is this people disgusted with his inaction, or deranged PedoSU students that are blaming him for JoePa's fate? I have a sneaky suspicion it is the latter. I could be wrong though, or maybe it is a mix of both. I will probably never get an actual answer to these questions. /shrug

Give me a freakin' break! We have torch and pitchfork carrying mobs spouting off on every message board and talk radio show in the nation and you're trying to blame the death threats on someone else?

Get a grip. It's the holier than thou mob that is responsible for the death threats...and you know it.

LOL CTFO bro. What you are telling me is there is not a chance some of these threats are from PSU students who blame him for Paterno's firing? They were willing to riot in the name of JoePa, but threatening this guy would be out of the question? In conclusion, it is you who needs to "get a grip" spaz.

If Joe Paterno wants to buy a ticket (he won't) why would PSU kick him out?

Hell if Sandusky is dumb enough to buy a ticket and sit in a large crowd of people, let him in too. I don't think he'd make it through the first possession

I don't think he can probably be within 100 yards of a minor.

Not to mention, some of the message board posts around PSU sites had all manner of comments (when last I looked a couple of days ago, and thus before Paterno's firing). Among them: suggestions that McQueary should've never turned Sandusky in in the first place, he should've kept quiet, and so on.

Like with everything in this situation, anything is possible.
