I think this is where your wrong. Supporting or "worshipping" someone based on what they've accomplished on the field is one thing. This isn't even about football. That's what bothers me this isn't about what happens on the field this is about real life and lives have been affected and destroyed. Paterno was a fantastic coach and one of the best ever, however this isn't about football and nothing he did on the grid iron carries over or should be used to justify the error that he made off of it.

While I don't "worship" KF, I certainly respect him regardless of my disagreements with some of his game-day decisions.

From my admittedly limited personal contact with KF, I can say with about 99.999% certainty that KF would NEVER, EVER enable a child rapist on the University of Iowa campus. Ever.

I understand you feeling this way, and wanting to feel this way, but seeing what happend at Pedo State, nothing would surprise me anymore. Yes, if this happened at Nebraska, I would be shocked initially, and I would want to deny that it happened, but once the shock wore off, I would be MORE ****** than I am at Paterno and the whole Pedo State administration and football staff.

I would hope that if, let's say, Tom Osborne did something similar, we thow him into the hole for the rest of his life, and throw away the key. I certainly hope and think that Dr. Tom never would do something like this, but you just never know.

I was shocked when this came out about JoePa and PSU, so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it did not happen anywhere else, you just hope that it didn't.
