I have a hard time believing the Big Ten would do this. There are less than 10K seats remaining for the game...no need to embarrass yourself like this.

The fact that there is anywhere close to thousands of tickets available is embarrassing enough for an inaugural title game.

JD, I do believe you were a strong advocate of Indianapolis for the game. I thought (and still believe) it should be played at Soldier in Chicago. Indy is in the middle of the sticks and is fine for basketball bince 12 teams are going and each will bring some fans, cheerleaders, etc. But when you cut it to 2 teams, each with fanbases that hope to be playing in Pasadena in a few weeks, the pitch to go to Indy is harder. Yes, I know, sometimes it is cold in the Midwest in the late fall. Wear a coat and bring mittens.

If this game were in Chicago, it would be sold out. The ability to pitch the old lady on a trip to Chicago is easy from anywhere in B10 country, but Indy is a tough sell.

If you are a Wisconsin fan, are you going to go plop down $1,000 to go watch the team where if you win, you've just spent $1,000 that you couldn've spent running around Los Angeles and if you lose, you're all ****** off?

Clay Travis is a local talk show host here in Nashville. He is a complete dick about anything when it comes to sports. He is the "bad cop" on every broadcast and has been fired by many radio stations for his abrasive personality. 104.5 (local station) was recently purchased by a major outlet. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see this guy off air in less than 12 months.

He is a pot-stirrer, nothing more.
