"Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills, like how to put soap on their body."

Instructing a kid on how to use soap is one thing. Instructing a kid on how to use soap while using your penis as a teaching tool is a whole different ball game.

And I am one, and a criminal law defense attorney at that. I never understand why some attorneys talk to the media at all, or release statements like this. Whenever I have been contacted by media regarding a case I am handling, I just say: "It would be inappropriate for me to comment at this time", and say nothing further. Please know, Sandusky's lawyers do not represent the large majority of lawyers.

Why couldn't have Sandusky said this from the start? Teaching a 14 year old how to shower...makes perfect sense.

This is so dumb that I thought Kaldenberg said it. Nope, just a lawyer.

1. In a shower with a kid the adult is wrong right there.

2. THe lawyers are grasping at anything that has potential to hold up. This is pathetic Sandusky should have a court appointed lawyer 1st case right out of school.
