This is why I said OSU should've self imposed a ban this year unless they were sure they weren't getting one. This has to be the last nail in AD Gene Smith's coffin. The scholarship losses aren't bad at all but the bowl ban is troubling when they should have taken it this year.

I read the article from the Columbus Dispatch and I would imagine that they're pretty close to the situation with being in Columbus and all. Idk why they would come out with this breaking news if it wasn't confirmed. Maybe ESPN just dropped the ball..

What I said is that its obvious OSU didn't think they were getting a bowl ban or they would have self imposed one this year....
