Any chance Ferentz gets consideration for New England OC?

Belichick hired McDaniels for OC at about the same age, didn't he? Maybe McDaniels was a couple years older.

Ferentz is 28, but I wouldn't be shocked by the move. I don't think Belichick cares about age or experience if he thinks a guy can perform.

It wouldn't surprise me. If that happens, Brian Ferentz is your next Iowa football head coach. You can take that to the bank.

That's what Michelle Bachman said

If it happens, kind of sets up nicely for Brian to serve as Kirk's OC in a couple years and then step into the head job shortly after, doesn't it?

i think it would be a serious longshot, but if it did happen i would be very, very interested to see how he would call an offense.

The Patriots have already requested permission from the Rams to talk to McDaniels (along with the Chiefs).

That being said, Bill Belichik will do whatever the heck he wants, and if he feels he has the capacity, he'd do it. Regardless of whatever anybody else thought about it.
