Iowa Athlete Suing Head Coach for Medical Condition
Found this article this morning. Not a huge "Crew" follower, but find it interesting that the Courts/lawyer are allowing an athlete to sue their head coach for a medical condition, which may have been caused by workouts. Could be an interesting precedent set.

There aren't too many facts on the situation in that article. If poorly supervised workouts is the only thing she has to go on then she won't get far.

Coach couldn't have been pushing the all that hard, as didn't we have the worst women's crew team in the B10?

Re: Iowa Athlete Suing Head Coach for Medical Condition
Made me look it up. Finished 7th out of the 8 B1G women's rowing teams at the B1G Championships......so not the worst team in the conference. I did hear this discussed on the radio. Women's crew is one of the largest women's teams in numbers at Iowa. With all of the Title 9 rules, this is an important team to have around.
