There are only a couple of teams that finish the year with a win in a BCS game. If Iowa got to the Rose Bowl, it would mean that they probably went undefeated or at worst finished with 1 loss in the Big 10. Pick your B10 loss. Then, they would play and beat a top 5 team, probably with a more storied history than Boise St. For me, I'd take the win.....depending on how the Championship game played out.....Iowa could receive quite a few 1st place votes anyway.

I'm sure the question would be more difficult if you said a loss in the Nat'l Title game to Alabama.

I don't think it really matters who you lose to in the NC game. It's a loss and the pundits will say yah they were good, but they didn't win. That's like saying I picked up the hottest chick in the bar last night but I didn't get her name or number. Kind of pointless. Rose Bowl win for sure!

BCS Championship game loss and it isn't really close. A rose bowl win means we lost somewhere along the way anyway. At least in the BCS title game, we were there and had our shot at the best, there's no "what if" scenario.

This is tough...because we know the outcome, so I'm taking the Rose Bowl win. But if the Hawks make it to the BCS Title Game this season and they wind up losing on a last second FG or something, I'm not going to be sitting on the couch thinking, "DAMMIT...should've gone to the Rose Bowl! We would've DESTROYED Oregon State!".

This is a no brainer....Take the Rose Bowl win. That will give Iowa the exposure and recruits to make it to the National Title game then we win that. Period. End of discussion.
