Gettis?

Has anybody heard anything on him? There is a thread over on the pay board on HR labeled "Gettis Injured" but I cut my subscription a few months back. I hope whatever it is it isn't bad.

Word is that he has a high ankle sprain. Hopefully he recovers in time for the ISU game...he's probably doubtful for EIU.

of course!! can't have a day go by with out a freaking injured player--- this sucks-- just a high ankle sprain? so he'll be ok by ISU some think?? it's soooo imperative that our starting OL get's as many reps together and start the gelling---- that has been good so far from my understanding this camp

Actually, knock on wood but we have had very few injuries so far this camp. Kirk just said that everybody would be ready to go come the Eastern Illinois game before the alleged Gettis injury. There are a ton of teams that have a whole lot more injuries than we do right now. Unfortunately, injuries are part of the game.

The curse of the high ankle sprain continues from last year... How many people missed games last year because of that injury? I hope MacMillan is ready and I hope Gettis can get back for ISU.

Robinson? Even if this is true, I wouldn't worry about ISU; their d-line won't be able to get much of a push. They'll have to blitz to get any pressure on Stanzi.

The rumored "news" was started by a poster ... not by an admin. It sounds like Rob is trying to track down whether there is any truth to what the poster wrote.

Rob definitely provided inaccurate info several weeks ago ... however, plenty of what leaks out of the HI site ends up being fairly accurate.
