Re: BTN Analysts Provide Practice Reports from Iowa City

DiNardo appreciates KF so much from a fellow coaches perspective, that is clear.
As do NFL guys like former Ravens coach who raved about KF tonite on the Chiefs/Bucs game. All these Iowa players making the NFL is not luck,it is hard work, plus great coaching.

Really excited to see Vandy out on the field this year. Agree with DiNardo that he has NFL potential with golden arm, great footwork, and quick release, all with accuracy.

I have to think they did not see Keenan Davis today...he is the other wideout weapon oppo of Marvin, and he will be a very good one.
I know that DiNardo commented from Nebraska that their qbs do not threaten with arms, just legs, and are not balanced...so have to wonder if he is starting to question his pick of nebraska as heavy favs in the Legends.

How's come no one mentions the quotes from DiNardo when asked who he thought was better Iowa or Nebraska? He was asked this 3-4 times, and each time all he said, "Nebraska has more talent and is deeper".

I love DiNardo, but I can't wait for Iowa to take a crack at that all-talented, all-deep, and all-mighty team to the west.

I can't believe the fall preview is only a half an hour. I don't think the BTN takes full advantage of their opportunity on college football. I think they should be doing more leading up to the season. They could have there own college football live type show during late summer. I know breaking Big Ten news doesn't happen everyday but they could spend time really breaking down the teams. Anyway thats my rant, man I miss Miller and Deace!

I agree with this. They should have an hour long show hosted by a local personality about each team every week of July and August, but they don't. People would watch that stuff more than they watch what's on now. If every Tuesday night from 6-7 PM in July and August Jon Miller and Former Hawkeye X (Matt Bowen would be a great choice) broke down position battles, discussed recruiting, talked preseason camp, and had a special guest every week it would be a late summer highlight for thousands of Hawk fans. I imagine the same can be said for fans of all 12 conference schools.

At minimum, I think they could flesh out an hour a week in August that goes around the league updating on news out of camps.

You think KF is going to let the BTN come in each week and report on practice? They let the local media in for 15 minutes every once in a while and that is during stretching. I think KF wants to keep his closed practices closed. We're just going to have to be patient. 21 days.
