it would be sweet to get these political posts to not show up on the main front page - they dominate the landscape. do like cyclown did when they were having issues with the rivalry posts dominating - they didn't come to the front page, just stayed in that forum.
As for the political posts, those should not be showing up on your landing page unless you have opted in...use this same process to see if you are opted into those...you should only be able to see them if you have opted in to that forum
