Tom Bradley possible DC

So you have some "inside" sources I take it. Are you 100% that it's going to be Parker?

Personally, I'm hoping for Bradley over Parker. Not to take anything away from Parker, but Bradley is definitely a proven DC that's been around and coordinated some great D's. Plus, we could use some new blood, IMO.

Its not Phil Parker. Brock Spack has been in Iowa City a few times to interview before Christmas, he was their #1 target and who they wanted, it still could be him. If its Phil Parker, they were turned down about 10 times.

This means nothing. How many coaches deny involvement in job seeking, (see Urban Meyer). I am not saying he got interviewed and maybe he hasn't had any but I find it hard to believe that he would come out and say yes I interviewed with A, B,C teams.

I don't like Bradley's ties to Penn State's debacle, but he would be the best hire, from a football standpoint, that Ferentz could make, imo. As long as his name is never brought up tying him to the Sandusky situation, everything would likely be okay, in that regard, during his tenure at Iowa. Who knows, he eventually might become Iowa's HC.

if Barta/ferentz hires Bradley and Bradley is subsequently tied to Sandusky, they will both be sent packing. Bradley is not worth the risk. though losing barta and ferentz is a wet dream to some hawk fans.
