The article says that stony brook did its investigation to "clear" coker before allowing him to gain admittance. I guess that says a lot about what happened with innuendo and the investigation in Iowa City. No charges but the U of I made its decision.

not sure you can say it says 'a lot'. no charges has nothing to do with him being 'innocent'. and i don't know how much information can be gathered from an investigation like this with privacy issues, etc. i but this is water way under the bridge - good luck to him going forward.

just now read the article. the article does not state what i have bolded above. it says they did a background check on Coker. that is far from an investigation to clear him of this incident.

Stony Brook looks like a large school 24,000+ in FCS so he should play against and with good talent. I hope he does well and they have an astro physics department.
