this is something coaches have tried before and some have success and others dont. it wouldnt work the higher the level it is actually surprising he has had as much success in hs with it. this is more of a pee wee football thing.

I'd rather run the ball with the stretch play and don't turn the ball over, punt, play good defense, down the ball with 1:30 left in the half, play for overtime, make the other team beat you, don't beat yourself.

On 3rd and 4 we'll throw the fade more than anyone else in the country because that's when they aren't expecting it. We'll run play action from our own 1 yard line too because that's when they aren't expecting it.
