I don't know if Iowa did or Didn't talk to him, but this is always the standard response. what a waste of article space.

This is why colleges use hiring firms. Then Hermann and his agent can both claim that they haven't talked to anyone at Iowa, and be truthful.

This is dumb anyway. Has anybody seen ANYTHING anywhere that suggests it could be him? It could be Parker or it could be a coach from the Pats just as easy.
