How many here hopes or think he won't live up to the hype? I for one hope, but who's going to stop him in the Leaders division? Wisc, poor recruiting and most of the staff just left. Penn St, don't know yet if they don't get a good coach.

It's sad but I think this guy is going to run a muck in the Leaders division. I believe even an average coach could win 10 games regularly with Ohio st.'s advantages.

Last question, does he make the perception of the B1G tougher? Maybe he'll actually beat SEC teams regularly.

The thing for him to be key will be if he can beat Michigan. If he can't beat Michigan his pride won't be able to take it and the fan base will be all over him. It will be similar to when John Cooper was there. They had some awesome teams but couldn't beat Michigan and ultimately it cost him the job. I have predicted in another thread 4 years and I am sticking to it. I think the guy is slimy and hope he fails and I hope Ohio Sate fails because i am still bitter about the tattoo situation. Minor slap on the wrist for a bunch of cheaters.

Assuming no health issues pop up Urban has said behind the scenes he'd like to be at OSU 10-12 years. His record in rivalry games is pretty amazing but I doubt he matches Tressel's 9-1 record against UM. He wins 7 outta 10 or even 6 outta 10 and he'll be fine.

im not worried about tenure im worried about the next few yrs. think about how he did with tebow. now he has braxton miller at qb. that kid is faster and has a better arm. he could be a heisman winner after a yr.
