kok's job at miami?

i have seen that he is going to be qb coach. but i think his job will be a little more than that. philbin was oc at green bay but didnt do the play calling and was basically the qb coach and co-oc with mccarthy. i can see kok having a similar position for philbin. from what i have seen of gb and kok's offenses when he was a hc it makes a good fit. he used more 3 and 4 wide sets like gb did so i see it as a good marriage between him and philbin considering philbin runs an offense similar to that of gb. which i feel is almost a given considering the 2 target qbs that miami will go after (manning & flynn). obviously manning is option a. and i see a good fit with marshall and bush to mannings abilities along with the style of offense. add in that they could also go get reggie wayne to make it more appealing this i believe is destination #1 for manning. if that doesnt work you have option b which is flynn who philbin has coached up already at gb. good luck to kok and here is to hoping we get a quality oc.

I've said for a long time that KOK is a good coach, but perhaps more of a square peg for Ferentz's round hole. He's at his best when allowed to be aggressive and creative (and his best is damn good); he looks rather pedestrian when he's playing it conservatively. I definitely think we can use the same philosophy/scheme going forward, and have better results if we find the round peg.

I honestly think this is going to work out for the best, for everyone involved.

This thread was born from humble beginnings. A simple question was asked, and d-bag decided to answer it in a condescending manner. We then proceeded to chastise him. Since then a myriad of topics have ranged from the sensible (Who would win in jousting, Tony Mo or Moped Man?), to the ludicrous (STATE actually landing an attractive woman ). You sir, are a clonebag, attempting to bring us down! This will not be permitted nor tolerated. RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!!!

agreed. when our options were low and he was given the keys and told to drive fast he did well. but when the restricter plate was put on the car he struggled. i think we can find someone that will breathe some life into an offense that really works when done correctly.

Marc Morehouse also mentions KOK going to Miami as their WR coach, not QB.
