Have you considered John Shoop formerly of North Carolina and the NFL?

He's a good one and probably even a better fit in more ways then one.

He's pro style to the core, yet will take chances and is innovative.

He's intense as hell but would have no problems following KoK and being the most hated assistant on staff. That was the way it was for him at Carolina.

Most recent accomplishment was the development of TJ Yates and several years of record breaking offensive output fro the Tar Heels.

Re: my own Coaching hires

other than Bradey the others have ties to the Hawkeye program and KF in general, that why i took them. as for Bradey he is like Norm in his bend but don't break defense
Mike Stoops is not available.

Re: my own Coaching hires

David Raih is someone that would be a terrific add. This kid will be very very good and soon. It will be interesting to see how things play out this year and if a qb coach is added and other duties shifted to make room for this.. I fully expect David to be a member of this staff (non ga) sooner than later.

besides other than Hayes and Bradley, they are very real possibilties with the exception of BF being the TE hire to start with.
