Why does Kirk act like he cares?
Unbelievable, hiring some same old stale bs coach he is loyal to. Hey cap'n feel free to interview someone from outside the staff once in a while. Were gonna end up bein Northwestern.....

What does that mean, "he's getting paid to act like he cares?" What do you need to see to demonstrate to you that he cares? Does he need to hire who you would like him to hire? Does he need to rant and froth like Pelini?

You may wish for better results, but I don't think it is reasonable to expect Ferentz to be someone he is not. And, I suspect that he has devoted his life to the success of the Iowa football program in a way most of us can't imagine. Now, would I take his salary and his hours? Yes, I would, at least for a few years. Would I succeed? Almost certainly not.
