Going back to the Big House!

We got our assignments for this season at the DI today. I'll be covering the ISU, Minnesota, Purdue, and Michigan games this year. Michigan and ISU were my top two choices, so I couldn't be happier!

This thread was born from humble beginnings. A simple question was asked, and d-bag decided to answer it in a condescending manner. We then proceeded to chastise him. Since then a myriad of topics have ranged from the sensible (Who would win in jousting, Tony Mo or Moped Man?), to the ludicrous (STATE actually landing an attractive woman ). You sir, are a clonebag, attempting to bring us down! This will not be permitted nor tolerated. RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!!!

Not sure about food, but gas and hotel are both covered when necessary (they usually drive back after the game).

Tough games. Only one roadie tho. I say you will be writing happy game stories on 3 of 4,and be plunged into Big House depression on the other. Screw Blue! But,I do not like the Hawks chances in that one, unless they take out D-Rob early.

D-Rob hasnt faired too well against the Hawks. Has never beat the Hawks and in 3 chances, granted his freshman year he came in for Forcier.

The "Big House" nickname = trying too hard

The place is sterile and lame compared to the Shoe, Kinnick, Happy Valley or Camp Randall. And less loud than all 4.

It's the biggest stadium in all of college football. I seriously doubt the name gives it too much hype, because it's true.

Not anymore. With the renovation, the noise is closed in. Ive been there many times and the game in 2010 was f'n loud.

Keep the winning streak alive. A lot can happen to a team between now and then good/bad.

I could careless how big it is....after row 35 you cant see ****. Takes about an hour to get down to your seat as the isle is a foot wide. Then you get to your seat and its 6" wide. I hope they keep adding seats till that dump caves in.

Ohhh and since I live in Meeechegan I get to hear them talk about it all the time. Funny thing is that Ive been there five times and know more about than the average wolverine.

I went there once when I was about 14. Other than the fight song playing every other play, it was VERY quiet. Maybe because that was the year Timmy D took one back before halftime. O wait, we lost that game.

The Big House is the loudest stadium in the Big 10 after the renovations. It is nice as the view isn't obstructed anywhere like OSU and PSU. Not a bad seat in the stadium. Also, I've found the fans to be classy there.

I liked the big house better than the shoe. fOSU are scumbags. Never been to Happy Valley or Camp Randall. Meatchicken fans at least have a little class unlike the bucknut fans.
I miss those silly off topic forums.
