In the past, I woud've said Bucky.
I would agree that MSU is probably our most important game this year.
If we're "on top" the Nebraska and Michigan games are of course important as well. It's basketball season!

Re: Iowa's most important game
I would agree. Iowa could be(should be) 5-0 at that point and nobody would have a clue what type of team Iowa had yet.

Re: Iowa's most important game
We have the easiest firt 5 games in the history of college football (save Wisconsin's yearly opening slate). When your toughest test is a crappy ISU program, you should roll. However, I would not be shocked one bit if we lost 2 against some of these cream puffs. This team has been just as soft as its schedule lately.

Northern Illinois - If we lose the opener in Chicago, I'd be worried that many of the players on the team would be screwed in the head for quite awhile.

Re: Iowa's most important game
I just have a feeling that they are going blow out Northern Illinois. They lost a lot on offense including their really good QB who led them in passing and rushing. and they lost their top running back.

The next game is the most important.

You never know what to expect. Seniors need to play like Seniors and KF will have to put some faith in some freshman.
