Re: EAGLES: Hawkeye record setter McNutt trying to capitalize on Cooper injury
Love McNutt, but all I read was "alarmingly slow". See what this board has done to me...the damn glass keeps losing water.
In 2013, Iowa Football will surprise to the upside (9-3).

Re: EAGLES: Hawkeye record setter McNutt trying to capitalize on Cooper injury
Philadelphia Eagles' Marvin McNutt might be able to make fast work of opportunity at wide receiver | lehighvalleylive.com
Came across this also. From article:
As Reid noted, "McNutt would probably be the one (of the wideouts in camp) that’s most like (Cooper),” and Reid said he wasn't likely to bring in more competition.
“I’m going to just leave it the way it is," Reid said. "We’re going to leave it and let the young guys get some work in and see what they can do."
McNutt's already shown well and he starts ahead of the others -- as a draft pick battling with free agents such as Damaris Johnson, McNutt will get every chance and more. And the timing of McNutt's chance couldn't be better.
Reid, who said it was "too early" to say who has impressed him, admitted McNutt has.
"I thought he did well (Saturday)," Reid said. "He had a good day and that was good to see. He’s a big, physical kid. You saw that. You saw him attack the football and he made some big plays. You saw him on a quick screen make some people miss and make a big play there. He's a big kid too. He's not going to look like DeSean (Jackson) coming off (the line). So, he's a bigger body but he’s very physical to the ball. When you put the pads on, that's his game where you can have the physical of it in there."
