TD or No TD?

In honor of Norm Parker's outstanding Defensive squad, I thought it might be fun to play a little game regarding the opposing team's ability to score TD's against us. I'm calling it TD or No TD.

Personally, I don't think Indiana will be able to put one in the end zone and will have to settle for strictly field goals all day. So I say No TD.

However, for the sake of better discussion I've set an over/under at 1.5 TDs for Indy.

If you think Indy will score 0 or 1 TD, you'd take the under. If you think they'll score 2 or more, then take the over.

Please feel free to rationalize your guess.

Under. I'll say they get 13 (1 TD, 2 FG).

Re: TD or No TD?

I'll take the under as well. 1 TD off a pass, and then a couple FG's from turnovers. Hawks win by at least 14.

I'll take the over (2), and a Hawk win at 31-14

Re: TD or No TD?

Does this count defensive TDs? I take the under either way, but that could affect things. I can't see Iowa's defensive giving Indiana more touchdowns than they gave Wisconsin, Penn St, Michigan St, Iowa St, Arizona (their D scored one), and Northern Iowa. That would really surprise me.

Great Point Jumper,

I think the over/under should also include defensive touchdowns. (Let's hope Stanzi got all of those pick 6's out of his system earlier this year)

I'll take the under as well. I think it will come in the first half, just to make us nervous.

Re: TD or No TD?

I'm going with the odds, our defense has only allowed more than 1 TD in 2 games (Arkansas State and Michigan) So with that I'll take the under.

Re: TD or No TD?

Interesting....

So far only one taker on the over. Maybe I should have set the over/under at .5?

Re: TD or No TD?

What is scary is Indy almost put two more TD's on the board.

What happened to my defense?!
