SEC accepts Texas A&M

Based on the email I just got from ESPN....it's a done deal. Let the dominos start to fall.

Texas A&M has said throughout the process that it was taking methodical steps. The Aggies hope to begin play in the SEC next season and have already sold out season tickets, in part from anticipation of the move.
They've sold out season tickets for 2012?

Baylor vs. A&M/SEC...yea I don't think that's going to be much of a problem.

I fail to see how Baylor can stand in A&M's way after they let Nebraska and Colorado get off scot-free.

Because thats how our system works. Baylor is just being a dick, but they have the ability to slow the process if they feel like they have a case. Someone will listen. A&M leaves no matter what, but it may be bumpy.

Yep. Baylor loathes A$M. They're going to do their part to make sure this transition is as painful as possible.

That's not very Christian-like of Baylor. What happened to Love Thy Neighbor?

Good point, but it's still funny from the outside!

Re: SEC accepts Texas A&M

The SEC has virtually handed Baylor,ISU or any other Texas league school veto power over the deal with A&M. Since Baylor and ISU have the most likelihood of being left the wallflowers, they'd be the most likely to throw a hissy fit.

Yeah, our leaders would be sitting on their hands if they were MWC bound.
