Virginia Tech is out of control!

Fire Beamer! He's lost all control of the team! Their starting kicker was suspended last week for felony breaking and entering, and now his replacement won't play in the Sugar Bowl because he missed curfew. What is going on at V-Tech? Kickers are getting in trouble now.

I understand your point, however the Iowa situations are a little different. Last year top two offensive players, production wise not named Stanzi, suspended/kicked off team (DJK and Robinson). And then this year your top two RBs suspended (Coker & McCall).
I would hardly say two kickers missing a bowl game at a different school is a similar situation. It wouldn't be such a big deal for the Hawks if last year hadn't been such a disappointment and those players wouldn't have gotten in trouble. But two years in a row is either a start of a problem or a recurring problem.

I know! Why doesn't KF tell the good players not to get in trouble? I am sure that if they knew they weren't supposed to, they wouldn't.
