2013 Hawkeye Football Tickets For Sale
Here's the deal. I've been buying season tickets through someone else for almost 10 years and finally got some in my name. I already paid for the other set, so now I have 4 tickets for this season. I'm willing to sell 2 tickets (together) for every home game this year (except ISU is already sold). I found the closest comparable seats on Stub Hub and took 15% off of that price. Shoot me a message if anyone is interested. Of course, I won't have the tickets in hand for a couple weeks still. I'm not trying to rip anyone off on these, just hoping to recoup some of the $4,600 I have invested between tickets and donations for the season.

wouldn't you be better off donating them to a charity if you can't sell them. At least you could write that off.

Well, the donation to the U is no longer 100% deductible. I'm not sure if you can deduct it at all.
Anyway, I took a calculator to this, and the OP is basically trying to get face and donation per ticket back. It's a tough sell for some games. It's difficult to explain how face value is $70, and that you actually pay $140 for a $70 face value ticket.
BTW, 40 yard line tix, for a total cost of $4,600 for one set of tix is actually pretty decent. If he got a Kinnick Society pass also, I'm doing something terribly wrong.Ignore is not a setting on a website, it is much how I live my life. Carry on.

Re:2013 Hawkeye Football Tickets For Sale$
$600 per ticket contribution for 2 tickets plus $400 per season ticket translates into a total of $2,000 for 14 tickets results in a price of under $150 per ticket. I don't follow where the OP prices come from.

Re: 2013 Hawkeye Football Tickets For Sale
Your pretty close on your numbers for actual seat cost. I had to donate 3 grand thus year to get my points high enough to get tickets on my name. So I ended up paying $3000 + $800 + $800. I'll entertain offers, I just based these off of stub hub. To be honest, its less about the money and more about getting the wife to stop complaining about how much I spent on tickets this year. So whatever happens, happens.
