When fans say they don't like KOK's playcalling, they're also saying they don't like Ferentz's football philosophy because, of the coordinators, KOK most directly reflects Ferentz's football philosophy which is:

The Iowa offense doesn't make mistakes.
The Iowa offense takes possessions away from opponents' offenses.
The Iowa defense is the dominating force.

Also

KOK adapts to the flow of the football game - football season.
The offense has groomed QBs and WRs.

Earlier, Ferentz said it was important for WR K. Davis to step up this year.
Does this mean Ferentz has changed his football philosophy or does Ferentz believe the D won't be doninant?
