MLB Playoff Coverage

Is it just me, but I can't stand that between nearly every pitch during the playoffs I have to see fans biting their nails, picking their noses or bouncing up and down. I don't want to see fans, I want to see professional baseball players play the game. It's been going on for years and it drives me crazier every year.

I cant even watch. Id rather listen to a baseball game on the radio. Couldn't agree with you more. Id rather hear dumb stories then see the same fan 20 times a game.

Have you been watching Fox or TBS? I like TBS's coverage much better than Fox's.

Watching Cards/Brewers on TBS - huge 8th inning strikeout just now. The announcers stayed quiet after the swing & miss, just letting the crowd noise and action speak for itself.. really nice.

Fox would have added some fiery whoosh sound-effect.

I've been pretty impressed with coverage from TBS...

I only watch when the Cardinals are in.

TBS' coverage has definitely been better.

Re: MLB Playoff Coverage

The reason playoff baseball sucks is unless you are a fan of the team it's unwatchable. Not only do games take 3+ hours, the series take a week to complete. Who has time to devote 21 hours to a baseball playoff series?

The funny thing is Bud Selig is so ******* clueless that he's trying to expand the post season. Yeah that's what I want Bud. I want a month of playoff baseball. What a joke.

Re: MLB Playoff Coverage

why not go to a best of 9 or 11 format. so we can really be sure of which team is better? why shorten the season when the ratings are so great. wait...what's that...no one watches baseball anymore...preseason NFL games are better attended and watched than MLB playoff games...
