No doubt about the missed call in 1985. However, there were 2 missed 'calls' last night , but those involved the bullpen. Wow. What a game and I don't think I have ever seen the reaction after a game to the managing of a game (by both managers, but especially LaRussa) ever.

Yes, a bad call indeed. But how about Jack Clark dropping a pop foul and the passed ball mistakes by the Cards. The runner called safe at 1st on the blown play didn't even score. CARDS CHOKED!

You sure about Lohse? From the linked article before game 3 (where Lohse pitched 3 innings and gave up 3 ER and 2 HRs).
