He's a damn good player, but to pretend that the fact the defense is ALWAYS on the field isn't a factor in his number is foolish. To what degree his stats are inflated, I don't know. But they ARE inflated by that factor.

Agreed. A "tackles-per-minute" stat might be more telling.

Doesn't negate the fact that he did TACKLE that many times. Not his fault the entire Colts' Offense is TOTALLY dependent on a Mr. Manning.....

Kinda like I said in the beginning, no need for an explaination, cause it's so OBVIOUS. Obvious why he gets the chance to lead. Doesn't matter to me. He's a tremendous athlete with stamina, something we coulda used last year and this year as well.

Sure his stats look better because he's on the field often but on the flip side someone has to make the tackles and Pat is the one doing it.
