Darn, Tebow missed the Packers

Looking at the schedule was Orton still QBing the broncos when the Pack lit them up in Week 4?

I really doubt even if T-Bow was playing if he could have mustered close to the 49 points the Pack whomped on the broncos Dee.

Oh wait, God would have intervened on the broncos behalf.

Yes. Orton was still the starter for that debacle. Although Tebow did get destroyed by the Lions I believe.

Re: Darn, Tebow missed the Packers

Let me preface this by saying that I am by no means a Tebow fan. I think he's getting wayyy more credit than he deserves. That being said, he does not put his defense in bad positions constantly; Orton was turning the ball over a lot. Tebow does not turn the ball over and they run a **** ton, thus the defense isn't on the field as much and usually their field position isn't bad. So basically what I'm saying, is that the Packers probably would not have put up near as many points as they did the first time, but I still think they would've won pretty handily.

Interceptions hurt definitely, but if he would have put up the same amount of points in the first half against the Packers as he did against the Vikings and Bears, they would have been down 24-0.

Re: Darn, Tebow missed the Packers

Tebow ran the Wildcat once or twice against the Packers but he didn't play full time. Orton actually played ok that game aside from a couple of interceptions (one was for a TD).

It would have been an epic beat down which would have sucked bc I like Tebow. I'm happy we didn't kill him!
