Maybe this has been a thread before but Ok, let's see how many Tim Tebow as great qb would rather have him leading your broncos or favorite team or rather have Cam Newton.

No contest here in my opinion. Newton surprised me and can really throw it and he can run as well as timmie T.

I bet if Newton started this year for the broncos they could have been 11 or 12 wins in regular season because of the defense.

Good question, but where are the Panthers sitting today? Living rooms watching Tebow. Maybe they couldn't get motivated to play to their potentials because their QB, while a specimen, lacks leadership qualities.

Here's the thing. How many wins would the Broncos have if Tebow himself had started the first five games AND had some preseason experience as well? I say they would have maybe picked up 2 of the earlier losses and maybe 1 (or 2) of the late losses based on team experience and cohesiveness (and all the lucky heroics). There's your same 11-12 win regular season.

Would the Broncos Defense even have risen to half their potential without being personally challenged and motivated? How about the O-line? they stunk for the first 8 games anyhow. What ifs are interesting, but I think for this year and this team, I would have been happy to have had Tebow for all 17 (now 18+) games with some pre-season experience as well. This has been a fun year to watch, and be a Bronco fan.

Cam Newton is sitting because he is on a team with bad defense.

Newton seemed much more adept at moving the chains than tebow which would have made denvers defense and kicking game even better.

I just cant see tebow throwing into small windows or even a mid-size window like elite qbs. You have to wonder where denvers dee was the first 5-6 games?
