Jeff Tarpinian making the pats roster and staying on it just goes to show how much of an athlete and LBer we missed in 2010. I still say the 2010 let down/losses at the end of the year were mostly a result of Nielsen and Tarpinian getting hurt.

I watched Tarp in the 2010 NW game and he was shutting down the passes over the middle, then he gets hurt again, and boom NW drives for two 4th qtr TDs as you all know.

I have to pull for the patriots in this one. The Giants got the big upset in 2008 I think and derailed the pats perfect season. The giants have the much better defense today but I hate to see some 9-7 team that got bombed by Seattle and Washington in NY win the super bowl.

Giants mediocre and then just got hot again like a few years ago.

not to mention tarp is the reason edds isnt on the pats roster anymore. he outplayed him in practices and such so they cut him and he ended up with indy. edds is considered a great hawk lb and tarp proved to one of the best coaches ever he was better than edds. i think we really missed out on watching a great lb who was just plagued by injuries in tarp. i think i heard kf or someone say tarp was the best lb to ever not play for the hawks because of all the injuries.
