Jake looked very very good today. He was very accurate on his passes. He threw a couple nice deep balls. He also showed some nice mobility and the ability to throw while rolling out. Looks like a big time QB, and a great recruit for Iowa.

It will be interesting to see how he handles college, and if he can continue to improve. It looks like he has the skills to play at the next level. I could see him becoming the post James V. QB. Guess we'll see in 3 years.

Jake was 10-14 for 230 yards and 2 TD's against Skyline, the 7th ranked team in the nation by the National Prep Poll. Very impressive!

I was very impressed by Jake's game management and poise. He never seems to panic. Skyline's defense had some really high caliber players. That second half was a thing of beauty. I think Jake will fit it nicely with Iowa's offense.
